Yesterday's event with filled with sugary happiness. We broke up into teams and got started on our cakes! One group chose to use the story of Judith as inspiration, one used the destroyed temple and the final battle, while others used broader ideas of Chanukah and the battle of Chanukah for their ideas. After we decorated our cakes, we went on a tour to see everyone's creations, and then we devoured them!! One group had eaten so much candy while preparing their cake that they couldn't eat theirs at all! Not to worry, it didn't go to waste though! We all went home on a great sugar high, a great way to end Chanukah 2012!
